DESIGN STORY
Spire is a balance of earth and air; a coffee table made to inspire. Designed by a blacksmith, Spire’s form is a lesson in metalwork. With a slender, tapered leg rising into the flat stone table top; Spire appears to float above its steel frame, placing the table top on the cusp between fragility and stability.

FORM & FUNCTION

The coffee table is designed alongside a thick, polished top that contrasts against its light steel frame. Through its bold lines and robust profile, the table has a balanced quality that will make an ideal centrepiece to reception and lounge areas when creating a sense of warmth and luxury.

OPTIONS
Marble, slate or granite tops in a range of colours and types can be placed directly on the power-coated steel frame and fixed on request. Spire is available in three sizes as either a rectangle or circle.

DESIGNER
Dennis Marquart is a designer and co-founder of Danish design company Ox Denmarq. Dennis studied furniture design at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. During his studies, he went abroad to study in China and Japan where he learned about the importance of simplicity, aesthetics and precision – all essential elements in his design philosophy.
