The Making of The Crossover

"It was about perfecting the shape and form of the chair. We were literally shaping the foam in the workshop, making tests and 3D models to make something that was aesthetically good but still purposeful. I felt like I was shaping a sculpture! It was very difficult – we changed the design so many times to get the curves and shape right to make sure it was a suitable, ergonomic product. With the Crossover there is only one message, and it is pure form – all the mechanics and ergonomics are hidden within the upholstery." - Hans Thyge
